AMY HUSEYIN
President
I'm Amy, a sixth year medic at St John's and this year’s President of CUCTS. I’m looking forward to working with the committee to share my passion for cardiothoracics and to inspire others to consider a career in this exciting and innovative specialty. We are planning to host a diverse range of events, including academic talks, careers events and surgical skills workshops throughout the year, in addition to our annual conference. Hi, my name is Tjaša and I am a fifth- year medical student. While the only visible mark after cardiothoracic surgery is a surgical incision scar, cardiothoracic surgery demands a lot from an individual – endurance, courage and innovation to name a few. As part of CUCTS 2021-22 committee I hope to share my passion for this traditional yet dynamic and rapidly advancing speciality!

Hello, my name is Constantinos and I am a fifth-year medical student at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. I am very passionate about surgery as a career. I find cardiothoracic surgery in particular to be an exciting field that incorporates a multitude of disciplines which align with my scientific and medical interests. Outside of medicine, I generally spend my time playing tennis, listening to music and trying my luck in learning the basics of Spanish.
